With a variety of shopping, beaches, and some of the best dining in the world, the city is sure to have something for everyone to enjoy. Miami is known for its colorful history and thriving culture and you can easily immerse yourself in it and learn about the city while exploring the different areas.
#2 Go to the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden
A tropical oasis just outside of the city, the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden offers the perfect place to escape to for the day. From tropical gardens to aquatic exhibits, the garden’s vast land has a variety of areas to explore with plants from all over the world. You can even go inside the Gate House, the garden’s first building, to view the spectacular architecture and escape the heat for a while. If you’re looking for something for the whole family, the children’s garden will allow the kids to run and play while still enjoying the garden.
#3 Go to the Zoo
What better way to get outdoors and enjoy the sunshine than seeing all of the animals at the zoo? Zoo Miami is ideal for spending time outdoors and learning about animals from all over the world. Visitors can view animals like giraffes, leopards, snakes, and a variety of other reptiles and birds. The zoo is offering $10 entrance on Mondays throughout the summer so everyone can join in on the fun. Our community is located just across from the Zoo so you can easily access it anytime you wish.
